Jennifer (Jenny) has over 30 years experience as a Psychologist and Child Psychotherapist working with children and families in private practice, community and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
She worked as a Child Psychotherapist at Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne for 20 years. Jenny has a special interest in working with new parents and families with infants and young children, and also sees families who have a child with a medical condition.
She provides a reflective and supportive space to help families through stressful periods, helping children, adolescents and parents to discover and use their personal resources, to facilitate development and adjustment. Jenny provides individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Informed by her clinical research in the area, Jenny also offers a service to families where the diagnosis and treatment of a medical condition in a child often brings enormous challenges for the family. Jenny helps families through these times of great stress, helping parents to discover and use their personal resources, to facilitate adjustment.
